"There isn't any such thing as ordinary life," said Emily.

While reading Emily Climbs by Lucy M. Montgomery, I stopped dead when I got to that quote.  I love the idea that every day brings new opportunities, new people, new decisions, new ways to define yourself and experience life.  This blog exists, in short, because no one else lives my life.  The same can be said for every person on the planet.  In that sense, there is also no such thing as an ordinary life.  I love it.

I make no promises about how frequently I will post here, or if you as a reader will be at all interested in what I think is worth taking the time to write about.  I am going to go my merry way, navigating the highs and lows of life, and you are welcome to jump on board whenever you feel like it.  I'd love the company.
